Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 July 2026. Plain-language explanation of what information is collected on this website and how it's handled.
EM Services / SAPS Police Clearance NZ
This website (sapspoliceclearance.com) is operated by Elanza Muller, trading as EM Services, based in Christchurch, New Zealand. This policy explains what information is collected through the website itself, and separately, how information you choose to share directly with Elanza is used when you engage the clearance-coordination service.
Information collected through the website
This site has no contact forms, account logins, or file uploads — it cannot and does not collect personal information you type into it, because there's nowhere on the site to type it. The only information collected automatically is standard analytics data via Google Analytics 4: approximate location (derived from IP address, not precise), device and browser type, pages visited, and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregated, standard web analytics — it is not used to identify you personally, and it doesn't leave Google's systems except in aggregate/anonymised reporting form.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies (for example, to distinguish returning visitors from new ones). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. You can block or clear these cookies at any time through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site.
When you contact Elanza directly
Every contact method on this site — WhatsApp, phone call, or email — takes you off this website entirely and into a direct conversation with Elanza. Any personal information you share at that point (your name, ID details, documents, contact information) is shared directly with her, not submitted through this website, and is governed by the privacy policy of whichever platform you used to reach her (for example, WhatsApp's own privacy policy for WhatsApp messages).
Information you provide in order to proceed with a SAPS Police Clearance application — your ID details, fingerprints, and supporting documents — is used solely to prepare, submit and track that application with the South African Police Service and any required courier or legalisation service. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone beyond what's genuinely necessary to process your specific application.
Hosting
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Standard web server request logs (such as IP address and request timestamps) may be retained by GitHub as part of its own infrastructure operations — see GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
Your rights
As a New Zealand-based business, this site operates under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. You can ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or ask a question about this policy at any time — email elanza@sapspoliceclearance.com.
